Set off Sunday at sunrise to keep heading west into southwestern Illinois. Caught lots of beautiful farms and their inhabitants including a beautiful black alpaca in the pics posted on Strava. It was a good thing I left early as the beautiful morning changed to thunderstorms and rain. Thankfully, I was safely camped at an amazing, you guessed it, coffee place called More on Main in Streator. Sidelined for nearly 3 hours, it forced me to ride hard strong headwinds leftover from the storm plus serious heat and humidity to get to the Riverbank Hotel in Henry. The reward was landing just in time for the Euro 2024 final between Spain and England. Priorities!
